Rob Short State Farm Agency Sales/Service Team Member – Insurance Sales (Property & Casualty, Life & Health)

About the Role

Working within the Rob Short State Farm Agency office, you will support the agency’s growth by building relationships, identifying customer needs, and offering tailored insurance solutions including Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health products. This role combines consultative sales, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

●      Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.

●      Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate State Farm insurance products, including auto, homeowners, renters, life, and health policies, etc. 

●      Educate customers on coverage options and policy features to support informed decision-making.

●      Generate new business through warm leads, referrals, networking, and outbound prospecting.

●      Assist with existing customer account reviews, policy changes, billing questions, and claims processes.

●      Follow up with leads, complete quotes, and close sales to meet individual and agency goals.

●      Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities.

●      Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance, regulatory, and State Farm guidelines.

●      Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

●      Active Arizona Property & Casualty insurance license (required)

●      Active Arizona Life & Health insurance license (required or ability to obtain quickly)

●      Prior sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred

●      Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

●      Self-motivated with a drive to meet goals and deliver exceptional service

●      Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

●      Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through

●      Comfort using web-based tools, CRM systems, and quoting software
